Our 2022 exhibition at the CDC’s David J. Sencer Museum in Atlanta explored the history of typhoid in the US and the ethical dilemma of carrier control by focusing on the tragic history of Irish immigrant and cook Mary Mallon – also known as ‘Typhoid Mary’.
